Severe Weather Information

In the case of severe weather conditions, we will make every effort to keep the school open at all times.

If the majority of teaching staff are able to get to school, the school will remain open and pupils are expected to attend.

If we are unable to get the majority of staff into school, we will remain open but will work on a restricted timetable.  The school will remain open for those parents who are unable to make child care arrangements.

If weather conditions are so severe that it is not safe or suitable for children and staff to travel to school, announcements will be made on BBC Radio Suffolk and on the home page of our website, as well as on our Facebook and Twitter accounts. You can also check the Suffolk School Closures website.

If weather conditions worsen rapidly during a school day and parents are concerned, they should collect their children from school. The school will remain open if it is safe and practical for children and staff to work.
