EARLY YEARS TEACHING ASSISTANT (one-to-one support)

 

We are seeking a skilled and committed Teaching Assistant to join our outstanding Early Years team, with specific responsibility to provide one-to-one support to a pupil or pupils with complex additional needs.

We are a welcoming, inclusive school community rated ‘Good’ with ‘Outstanding’ features by Ofsted, and are part of the highly regarded Samuel Ward Academy Trust.

Working arrangements: Fixed term until 31st August 2018 (9:00am-12:00pm, 5 days per week, plus one hour per week overtime for administration and record keeping and the possibility of additional hours). This is a term-time only post.

Salary: £9.21 - £10.44 per hour (grade 3, above the mid-point bar)

You will:

  • Undertake a range of specialised tasks to support the learning and other development needs of a designated pupil or pupils;

  • Assist with supervision of pupils, both indoors and outdoors;

  • Have an appropriate level of expertise, qualifications and/or experience in EYFS, English and maths, including a full and relevant level 3 Early Years qualification.

  • Salary: £8.36-£9.03 per hour (grade 3, below the mid-point bar)
