Wood Green Visits

Beech, Rowan and Cherry Classes all visited Wood Green Animal Shelters to find out more about local charity work, how the animals are looked after, what different animals' needs are and how we can provide it for them when looking after our pets.

The children got the chance to look at hamsters, rats, gerbils, rabbits, cats, dogs, goats, chickens and more. They found out more about living conditions, food, how to make things for animals to help keep them occupied and healthy - and on very cheaply too!

Huge thanks to Wood Green for having us there, and for their organisation of a fantastic couple of days for the different classes. It was terrific and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
