Year 5 visit to Dalham Hall Stud

25th May 2017
This week, Nightingale and Partridge Classes enjoyed a special trip to Dalham Hall Stud as part of their ‘Under Starters Orders’ activities. They discovered how Godolphin became a world-class name within the racing industry, how horses are trained and cared for and what some of the staff do at Dalham Hall Stud. The children were treated to a walk around the stables where they met the stallions Dubawi and Farhh; they were also able to stroke some foals and mares. Most importantly, they were treated to a delicious lunch! Next, the classes will visit the ‘National Heritage Centre for Racing’ before attending a Race Day in June.
