A message from Mr. P.
What a term, and what a year! From Australia Day in January and our ‘Walk 4 A Difference’ in February, through lockdown, remote learning, partial re-opening in June and full re-opening in September, to the exciting news about our school crossing this week, it’s certainly been an unforgettable year. There are so many people that we need to thank, including: all of the members of our community who are NHS employees or key workers, for all that they have done and continue to do; all of our families for being so supportive in helping us to keep our school safe, meaning that we have not had to close a single bubble throughout the entire pandemic to date; and our wonderful pupils, who have been so flexible and resilient through all of the changes that they have had to deal with over the past ten months, including learning at home for almost a term. However, I would like to pay a particular tribute to our staff, who have done a simply incredible job of continuing to educate your children to our usual high standards in the most challenging year that any of us could ever imagine.
On behalf of all the Laureate staff and governors, I would like to wish you all a safe and restful Christmas period, and a happy and healthy new year.
