Attendance and Non-uniform day

19th March 2021
Attendance and Non-uniform day (26th March 2021)

Because we were closed for the first part of the spring term, we weren’t able to reward the classes who achieved our 97% attendance target in the second half of the autumn term, or the autumn term overall. As the children found out in assembly on Monday:

• Seven classes had attendance above 97% in the second half of the autumn term: Bumblebees, Hedgehogs, Rabbits, Goldfinches, Kingfishers, Robins and Falcons all earned themselves an extra play time;

• Seven classes also had attendance above 97% for the autumn term as a whole: Hedgehogs, Rabbits, Merlins, Goldfinches, Kingfishers, Robins and Falcons all earned themselves a non-uniform day, which will be on the last day of term (Friday 26th March).

However, because everyone has worked so hard this term, we don’t want Early Years to be left out, so our Nursery and Reception classes will be having a special ‘rainbow’ dress up day next Friday, where they can dress as any (or all!) of the colours of the rainbow instead of wearing their school uniform for the day.
