PTA Update

Thank you so much to the small group of parents and staff who gave up half an hour of their time on Tuesday evening to attend our first PTA meeting of the term. We discussed a number of fundraising initiatives, such as Bags 2 School (if you haven’t already done so, please have a clear out of your unwanted clothes over the weekend and drop them off at school between 8-10am on Monday morning) and a ‘Break the Rules Day’ that we are sure the children will enjoy (more details to follow at the start of the summer term).

Our amazing PTA has raised tens of thousands of pounds in recent years, all of which has been spent on your children, including the new trim trail on the field, hundreds of library books, curriculum resources and reduced coach travel for school trips. Please come along to our next Zoom meeting on Tuesday 13th April at 6pm, where we will be planning even more fun activities for children and families. We will also be electing new committee members, but you don’t need to have a particular role in order to attend meetings – every parent and member of staff is automatically a member of the PTA, so we really hope you will join us.
