European Languages Day
29th September 2017
On Tuesday, we celebrated European Day of Languages with a wonderful carousel of activities organised by our Modern Foreign Languages Leader, Mrs Gale, supported by lots of other staff.
Pupils had the opportunity to learn eight different languages, including Hungarian, Welsh and German, and take part in a wide range of fun activities from painting Norwegian fjords (while listening to A-Ha) to learning a traditional Greek dance (without the plate smashing!). The day was made even more special because pupils were able to work in mixed age House groups with siblings and friends from across the school.
Many thanks to Mrs Gale and everyone involved in the day.
