U11's Kwik Cricket

20th June 2017

On Tuesday 13th June, ten Year 4, 5 and 6 girls and boys travelled to Mildenhall Cricket Club to compete in the U11 Boys/Mixed Kwik Cricket Competition. The team showed a high level of cricketing ability throughout, every member of the team tried their best throughout the tournament. A particular highlight was our batting, as we hit regular boundaries. We won two of our four games, which resulted in us finishing 7th out of twelve teams.

On Tuesday 20th June, ten Year 5 and 6 girls travelled to Exning Cricket Club to compete in the U11 Girls Kwik Cricket Competition. The girls vastly improved in every game they played. The girls proved to be strong competition, as each game they played was extremely close, unfortunately we ended up on the wrong side of a few close games. Remarkably we tied two of our five games, an occurrence which is extremely rare in cricket. The girls represented the school impeccably and finished in a respectable 5th place.
