Post:                                      MIDDAY SUPERVISORY ASSISTANT

Salary:                                  Grade 1, point 6 / £16394 FTE

                                                Actual Salary payable £1832.27 - £2748.40

Contract type:                   Between 5 and 7.5 hours per week / 38 weeks per year (between 12:00pm and 1:30pm, five days per week – exact timings to be agreed with the successful applicant)

We are seeking a confident, enthusiastic and caring MDSA to join our lunchtime team.

We are a welcoming, inclusive school community rated ‘Good’ with ‘Outstanding’ features by Ofsted. Key areas of responsibility will include:

  • Supervise and take care of pupils during the lunch time period in all areas inside and outside of the school, under the direction of the Headteacher and Senior MDSA;

  • Assist kitchen staff in the management of the dining hall;

  • Take a lead in promoting positive behaviour amongst pupils.
