Post: PLAY LEADERS (PART-TIME – TWO POSTS)
Location: Laureate Community Academy, Newmarket
Start date: As soon as available
Salary: Grade 2, below the mid-point bar (£8.55-£8.68 per hour)
Contract type: 5 hours per week (12:30-1:30pm, Monday-Friday)
38 weeks per year
Additional hours may be available according to the needs of the school
Contract term: Fixed term until 31st August 2020 in the first instance
Employment beyond this date may be available subject to funding
We are seeking two enthusiastic, self-motivated and caring Play Leaders to join our lunchtime team. We are a welcoming, inclusive school community rated ‘Good’ with ‘Outstanding’ features by Ofsted.
The successful applicants will:

Organise games and activities to engage and motivate pupils throughout lunchtime;
-
Support pupils to lead and organise their own games and activities;
-
Ensure the safety and wellbeing of pupils and promote a caring environment.

Post: MIDDAY SUPERVISORY ASSISTANT

Actual Salary payable £1832.27 - £2748.40
Contract type: A minimum of 5 hours per week / 38 weeks per year
(either 12:00-1:00pm, 12:15-1:15pm or
12:30-1:30pm, five days per week – additional
hours may be available according to the needs of
the school)
Contract term: Permanent
We are seeking a confident, enthusiastic and caring MDSA to join our lunchtime team.
We are a welcoming, inclusive school community rated ‘Good’ with ‘Outstanding’ features by Ofsted. Key areas of responsibility will include:

Supervise and take care of pupils during the lunch time period in all areas inside and outside of the school, under the direction of the Headteacher and Senior MDSA;

Assist kitchen staff in the management of the dining hall;

Take a lead in promoting positive behaviour amongst pupils.
