Rights Respecting Schools Articles of the Week;
Article 19 (protection from violence, abuse and neglect): Governments must do all they can to ensure that children are protected from all forms of violence, abuse, neglect and bad treatment by their parents or anyone else who looks after them.
Article 31 (leisure, play and culture): Every child has the right to relax, play and take part in a wide range of cultural and artistic activities.
PTA Update & Other Exciting Events Coming Up!

Thank you so much to the parents and staff who gave up their time to attend Monday’s PTA meeting.
A number of fundraising events have been planned for this term, including a Krispy Kreme Sale on Friday 11th March (information regarding pre-ordering boxes of doughnuts will follow soon) and another Break the Rules Day on Friday 8th April.
The House Captains are working with the PTA to choose some ‘trim trail’ climbing equipment for the playground, and will now invite companies to produce designs and quotations before they choose which one the children would like and announce a fundraising target for the year!
There are a number of other non-uniform days coming up this term to raise money for various good causes, including next Friday’s Dress to Express Day in aid of children’s mental health charity Place2Be.
