A Christmas Message From Our JRSOs

16th December 2022

The Junior Road Safety Officers would like to wish you a happy
holiday. This time of year, in the winter, it is very important to
keep safe by the roads because the mornings and late afternoons
can be dark, and the motorists might find it hard to see you. Here
are some tips for you to help you keep safe:

  1. Wear fluorescent and brightly coloured clothes.
  2. Wear appropriate shoes.
  3. When biking and scootering, wear a helmet and make sure
    you have lights.
  4. Find a safe place to cross.
  5. Give plenty of time for your journey.
