Rights Respecting Schools Articles of the Week;
Article 24 (health and health services): Every child has the right to the best possible health. Governments must
provide good quality health care, clean water, nutritious food, and a clean environment and education on health
and well-being so that children can stay healthy. Richer countries must help poorer countries achieve this.
Article 27 (adequate standard of living): Every child has the right to a standard of living that is good enough
to meet their physical and social needs and support their development. Governments must help families who
cannot afford to provide this.
IMPORTANT REMINDER – NUT FREE SCHOOL
17th March 2023
IMPORTANT REMINDERS REGARDING PACKED LUNCHES AND SNACKS
Remember that we are a NUT FREE SCHOOL – no products containing nuts should be sent to school. Packed
lunches should include healthy items (no chocolate bars etc.) and only fruit is allowed as a playtime snack.

Article 35 (abduction, sale and trafficking): Governments must protect children from being abducted, sold or
moved illegally to a different place in or outside their country for the purpose of exploitation.
